Since most people don't realize their scalp is unhealthy, here are a few things you can do to better understand the state of your scalp health.  
  1. Does your scalp often feel itchy?
  2. Do you observe hair-fall when you change water? Or shampoos?
  3. When you move from AC to non-AC environments, does your scalp feel congested?
  4. Do you regularly wash your hair in hot water? Or with harsh water (i.e. hard water, chlorine)
  5. Do you have dry, flaky scalp? Or excessive oiliness and sebum production?
  6. Do you have mild to moderate dandruff?
  7. If you don't shower for a few days, does your scalp feel uncomfortable?
  8. If you don't use hair conditioners after shampoo, does your hair feel dry and hard to control?
