Some people have curly hair. Some have straight hair. Some have hair strands that are thin, some are thick. Some have dark hair and others have  blonde colour. All those things we see in nature.
But the one commonality is: all of them need a healthy scalp to grow and remain healthy.

This is why Ayurveda focuses on the scalp and not on the hair itself. Once the scalp is healthy, other issues like dandruff, frizziness, split ends etc will also naturally come down.

However, today’s scalp is bombarded with pollution, chemicals, rapid temperature and moisture differences from AC rooms, soaps etc making it unhealthy, coating it with residue, dandruff etc.

This makes it harder to absorb any treatment.

This is why you need to first clean dead skin, residue and dandruff from the scalp. This will prepare the scalp to receive the balancing and growth nutrients.

This is just like a farmer who ploughs and tills the land so the right kind of environment is created for the plants to grow healthy.  And if the soil is unhealthy it doesn’t matter what else you do. The plants will remain unhealthy.

This is exactly why Two Oils are essential – one to clean/ prepare and the second to balance and provide nutrition. You cannot stuff everything into one oil – especially because you don’t need to cleanse every time.

The Scalp Prep Oil and Hair Growth Oil have been designed to have a symbiotic relationship - with one preparing the scalp to increase the effectiveness of the other.
